EELUME SNAKE ROBOT

1/3

The Eelume Snake Robot is a disruptive technology for subsea inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) and light construction tasks. Eelume vehicles are basically self-propelled robotic arms whose slender and flexible body can transit over long distances and carry out tasks in confined spaces not accessible by conventional underwater vehicles.

Eelume Snake Robots offer numerous advantages such as:

 Environmentally friendly

Fully electric equates to zero oil leaks.

 Modular design

Various modules can be connected in different combinations thus enabling the vehicle to be adaptable to a wide range of subsea operations. The various module combinations allow Eelume to carry out a wide range of inspection and intervention tasks.

 Intervention

The vehicle itself is a dextrous robotic arm that can operate tools and execute intervention tasks.

 Access difficult and confined spaces

Slender and flexible body allows access to confined and restricted spaces.

Long range

Vehicle can transit over long distances for survey applications.

 Subsea resident capability

Permanent residential solution designed to remain subsea by being connected to a docking station on the seabed, without the requirement for a surface vessel.
