Hydronaut is a purpose built and a cost-effective Net Zero Unmanned Service Vessel (USV) utilizing Triumph’s green vessel energy recovery architecture. Hydronaut has been conceived specifically to be paired and fully integrated with Aquanaut Mk 2, for semi-autonomous, over-the-horizon USV and subsea robot operations. Hydronaut and Aquanaut Mk 2 both utilize HMI’s Wavelink communication architecture allowing for tetherless operations between the two robots.

 

Hydronaut and Aquanaut Mk 2 together, are a truly game changing USV and tetherless robot combination. This is achievable by:

  • Environmentally friendly with Net Zero emissions.

  • Purpose designed and built USV integrated with Aquanaut Mk 2 utilizing a holistic control system.

  • Over-the-horizon commanding from onshore control centres.

  • In-field launching, recovery and commanding of Hydronaut from on-board Triumph’s fleet of Net Zero, Green construction vessels.

  • Supervised autonomous control of Aquanaut Mk 2 for survey, inspection and constructions tasks.

  • Operable in extended weather windows vs. peers due to Aquanaut Mk 2 not being constrained with the system-wide complexities of an umbilical.
